Indonesia Learning Sign Language is the language that gave priority to manual communication, body language and lip motion, rather than voice, to communicate. The hearing impairment is the main group that uses this language, usually by combining hand shapes, orientation and movement of the hands, arms and body, and facial expressions to express their thoughts.
Contrary to the opinion of many, in fact there is no international sign language are successfully applied. Sign language is unique in its kind in any country. Sign language may be different in countries that speak the same language. For example, the United States and Britain despite having the same written language, sign language has an entirely different (American Sign Language and British Sign Language). The reverse is also true. There are countries that have a different written language (eg English to Spanish), but uses the same sign language.
For Indonesia, the current system is commonly used is System alert Indonesian Language (SIBI) the same with American sign language (ASL - American Sign Language).
